Robert Raikes, a wealthy man in Gloucester who once saw the poor children hanging around in the streets had the very normal but generous idea of grouping them all and gave them education. It was what made the Sunday schools in around 1767. Children between the ages of five and fourteen years were admitted regardless of their clothes and appearance from 10am till 5.30pm.
Education can do lot of things. It changes destiny of the people, and thus the country.
