I was struck saddened to know that our friend and neighbour Paul Thompson passed away a few days ago. https://www.facebook.com/ewan.trehearne/posts/3078315195512131 Paul is a very kind neighbour. Together with his wife Amanda and children they are open to us and help us on everything that newcomers need. Paul took me to car dealers and advised me on the purchasing of our first left hand driving car. Paul signed papers showing to local authorities that he knew us to help us on different integration procedures to this country. Amanda never forgets to share us the fresh pears from their garden every year. Not only on everyday life stuff, Paul did involve me to different political activities of the Labour party. Paul is a keen Labour member and social activist. He took me with him in different campaigns. He invited me to political talks, to street manifestations, to discussions with Member of Parliament. Paul Horton fine art exhibition in Birmingham.
