Day 1: SIEM REAPE L D Upon arrival at Siem Reap airport, bus or boat station, welcome by our tour guide. Check in at your selected hotel. Transfer for lunch at local restaurant, we proceed to the Tonle Sap Lake, the largest fresh-water basin in South-East Asia. Here, enjoy a brief cruise past floating villages complete with schools, restaurants, and hospitals. Then, visit the Artisan D’ Angkor (Art School), a full-service crafts organization with an ambitious program which includes Les Chantiers Ecoles, an educational centre that trains rural young people in the traditional skills of stone carving, woodcarving, lacquer and silk weaving.
