Heated debate in the House of Commons yesterday evening. The table in the middle of the House divides the two parties. I was told once that this table width is two times the sword length. Maybe it was designed in the past so that representatives of the people, however divided in opinion they are, don't have a chance to harm each other by swords.
Interestingly I find this kind of Table and House of Commons disposition also in Australia. It is different to the kind of Senate in the US or Assemble Générale in France where representatives of the people sit and in curved rows all centered to a point in front.
And of course it is different to the one party General Assembly of Viet Nam.
