A few months ago, Ann Đỗ has discovered U line and Xisha and Nansha on the Marine Traffic page https://www.marinetraffic.com. She has then relentlessly written to the Marine Traffic asking for change. They have replied that it is because Google provides the map and the China google map has U line. This reply is of course not satisfying because the international Google map has no U line and as an international platform, Marine Traffic should use international Google map.
And today they have changed: no more U line and Spratly, Paracel written correctly. Bravo and thank you Ann Đỗ! Let's do like Ann.

A succint view on the disputes on the Southeast Asian Sea. Still very good to use though needs some update on the Philippines bringing China to court under Annex VII to the UNCLOS.

Thank you Ms Rachel Kennedy and the Royal Museums Greenwich. ********** Dear Trung-Tinh Le, I am pleased that you are satisfied with our response so far regarding the information you...See more

8 September 2017 Two days ago I have emailed to the Royal Museums Greenwich, London, UK to inform them that the globe put on sale in their shop contains the U line and the two archipelagoes Paracel and Spratly are written in China's way. The Musuems replied that they take our concern very seriously and the globe in question will not be reordered and the buying team of the Museums have been briefed on the issue so that the globe will be suitable in the future. You can see below the exchanges. I have been inspired by Pham Quang Tuan who has written letter to Google and academic journal on the same issue. Thank you Royal Museums Greenwich! Please share and apply as much as you can, for a better world with peace and justice. *************** Dear Trung-Tinh Le, Thank you for writing to us regarding your experience of our shop at the Royal Observatory. Eleven years ago, the South East Asian Sea Foundation has written, collected money to publish on the Manila Times an Open Letter to the Government of Asian Countries and the World about the dispute in the Southeast Asian Sea. We are among the first to alarm the world about the China's U line claim that we compared to "a claim by one person to all the oxygen in the air". South East Asian Sea Foundation is an organization composed of and funded by Asian nationals around the globe. So proud of what we can do as an independent organization, with an independent and new way. Posted on 21 October 2017 Note 14/10/2019: We will post from now on more and more about this subject on the page https://www.livenguide.com/user/2969-no-to-china-s-u-line-and-expansion.html , a more secured and reliable place to record the memory and to struggle against the China's U line and expansionism. Chúng tôi sẽ post từ nay nhiều hơn về chủ đề này trên trang ...See more
